I didn’t set out to start a home-services company. I set out to help a neighbor.

It was the summer of 2020, a strange year when everyone was home and small problems felt a lot bigger. A friend called me—his porch camera kept dropping offline, and packages were going missing in the neighborhood. I’d been helping people with low-voltage wiring and network setups for years, so I brought over a ladder, a drill, and a promise: “Let’s make your home feel safe again.”

We got the camera angles right, updated the Wi-Fi, mounted a second camera, and set up the phone alerts. When we finished, he stood a little straighter. He said, “Hey, my sister needs help too—her TV is still on the floor.” That became my second call. I measured the studs, wall-mounted the TV, hid the wires, synced the soundbar, and walked the family through the remote. Two small jobs. Two homes that felt better by dinner.

That week, more calls came in—neighbors, then their neighbors. Some needed security camera installation; others needed light fixtures and ceiling fans installed. A few had bigger worries: flickering lights, tripping breakers, an aging main electrical panel that didn’t feel safe. I realized there was a real need in Sacramento for a trustworthy, friendly, show-up-and-fix-it-right team. That’s when I named the company Arsunda—a simple word to remind me why we exist: to solve problems with care and craftsmanship.

From day one, I set three rules:

1. Listen first. Every home is different. People don’t just need a device mounted; they need a solution that fits their life.
    
2. Be transparent. Clear, up-front pricing. No surprises. If there’s a cheaper, smarter way, I’ll tell you.
    
3. Leave it better than we found it. Clean lines, tidy cables, labeled breakers, and a quick walkthrough so the family feels confident.
    

Those rules carried us from that first ladder job to full-service home security, TV installation & wall mounting, and licensed electrical services across Sacramento and the surrounding areas. We added safety inspections, system upgrades, and main panel replacement—because peace of mind shouldn’t stop at the front door camera; it should run through the whole house.

Some of my favorite memories aren’t the “big” projects—they’re the small wins. The grandma who can now see her front porch clearly on her phone. The dad who texted a photo of family movie night after we mounted their TV and dialed in the sound. The shop owner who sleeps better because the cameras, lights, and alarm all work together. That’s why Arsunda exists: to turn worry into relief, and houses into homes that feel safe, comfortable, and set up right.
